I've noticed that this technique seems to be a trend right now on several blogs that do these types of lists. I need to be a bit more uniform in my sizing, but I think the images increase the likelihood someone will click on the link and read the post. I don't have any data to support that notion though so maybe I am just projecting my own viewing habits. Thanks for the feedback.
