The Christian Entrepreneur – Site of the Month

Site of the Month WinnerWow, just wow!  I was very excited last week when this site was chosen as Site of the Day, but to also be chosen as the Site of the Month for November 2009 has left me virtually speechless.

That’s probably not a great thing for a blogger.  Looking at the past recipients of this honor, I see sites like FresheVenture and Blog Engage.  It’s hard not to be humbled when your site is included among sites like these.

I strive to make sure that the posts included on this site add value for small business owners while respecting the hard-working, ethical, Judeo-Christian principles that seem largely abandoned in today’s marketplace.

I am grateful to my blog community that this message seems to have found a home in them.  As I’ve said many times, and will continue to stress, a blog is only as good as the community it is able to build around it.

Thank you for your efforts in the success this blog is experiencing.  Will McCulloh has chronicled some really great bloggers over at, and I encourage you to visit his site and check them out.

Hi Brad,

Thanks for spreading not only a very positive message here on your blog, but also for passing my own site on to your community. You know, my site is quite a personal one (at the moment) and the choices made for “Site Of The Day” or “Site Of The Month” so far have simply reflected my own ideas of quality ( mostly within the blogging community at this time – because that's where I'm slowly learning how to create a blog) So the “award” is maybe nothing more than a new acquaintance saying “wow, I really like what you're doing-I'm impressed!”

Anyway, I'll be posting more on this topic in the coming weeks, give more in-depth reasons for all the choices so far and expand a little on the plans for the future at I hope you and others will like the developments and continue to support the website so brilliantly – and that the standard of selected sites will live up to the high standards set by (among others) yourself, Keller, Brian and Hesham. Not just good websites – but all very helpful , with a vision and somehow making things better for others. But – like I said – that's all just a very personal opinion … whereas the site itself will increasingly reflect a community opinion during 2010.

Ok, thanks again – I think your site is great – but also know a lot of others do too … so maybe the “award” is a little bit more than a personal one ;)

Very best wishes

Congratulations Brad. You are very deserving and your blog should be recognized for it's high quality content.

Umm … okay. Are you suggesting that I put an asterisk next to my title? Thank you for the non-binding, unscientific, completely biased, and most likely an opinion not shared by any other person on earth “award.” ;)

Thanks, but I think my response to Will above might have to be changed now. ;) Did you see that you made the top ten list for November?

Hi Brad,

For a religious man you sure have a wicked sense of humour. I like it !
As Ileane ( and I'm sure many others will agree) you are very deserving of a “Site Of The Month award and I've no doubt you'll get many more in the future.
I'm seriously impressed by and grateful to Keller, Brian and yourself.

And yes, what a great month.

Best wishes

I like to think of myself as a recovering “religious” person, but I'm glad you like my sense of humor. You never know how it will translate (no pun intended) in written form. It doesn't always go well in person either, but that doesn't keep me from trying. ;)
