What a great month November 2009 turned out to be for this blog. We got a brand new look with the Hybrid News theme, and a new name to better reflect its purpose.
I’ve always liked the recaps that many bloggers do at the end of each month, so I’ve decided to do one here too. Let me know what you think, and if there is anything else you’d like me to include.
The Christian Entrepreneur in the News
In a complete shocker, The Christian Entrepreneur was honored as the Site of the Day for November 24th at whatawebsite.org by Will McCullogh. I’ve heard that we might even be chosen for site of the month, but we’ll wait for the official pronouncement to claim it.
We were also able to catch the eye of rising blogger star, Keller Hawthorne. In my three part series on her site, FresheVenture.com, I highlighted all of the great things that Keller has done with her website that small business owners can implement on their own sites. In fact, she did a post on her site about it called Am I Really a Shameless Self-Promoter?
What a Great Group of Commenters!
The lifeblood of any blog is you, the blog community. Thank you for all your great comments during November. We had 117 comments (not counting trackbacks and pings) from 35 different commenters. We also received 29 Diggs, 134 Blog Engage votes, and 176 TweetMeMe tweets.

I just wanted to say thank you again to my blog community. I’ve met so many new people during November who have really great blogs, and I hope to start shining the spot light on some of them soon.
If I can help you grow your blog please let me know how I can help. If you have suggestions for this blog, or this monthly recap report, I’d love to hear from you.

Hi Brad,
What a great month it really was – and I'm very glad to confirm that you are now indeed featured on the whatawebsite sidebar for at least the next 6 months as “Site Of The Month”. It's great to be part of your community here and I can only imagine it'll grow quite considerably over the coming months. I'm sure the support of a growing number of regular visitors will see you more than reach your December targets too – and I'll certainly be doing my best to direct new people this way.
All the very best
Will
P.S. My English students really enjoyed discussing your “What the Christian Entrepreneur Owes the Poor” post – and had a variety of views to express on the topic. Great stuff, thanks again for that – I'll no doubt be printing out another post or two in the near future.
That's fantastic! If any of your students would like to have their thoughts on the post published let me know. I think it would be a nice read to do a post of excerpts or comments from your English class. I'd be happy to write it, or would love for you or one of your students to do a guest post if you were interested.
Thanks for the encouraging words. I really appreciate all you've done to promote this blog.
It seems that you have a great month Brad. Congrats!
Glad to be part of your blog Brad.
Nice round up Brad. It's also nice to see that we are one of your top referring sites.
Brad,
Congratulations again! I really do like this theme you are using. The layout is great and so easy on the eyes. Nice to be listed again too!
Thanks.
@ileane
Thanks, I'm glad you are part of this blog community. Congrats on being the top commenter!
The visitors that come here from Will's, Keller's, and your site have a much lower bounce rate, stay on the site longer, and visit more pages than my average visitor. I love getting visitors from your sites.
I really like this theme. I should probably do a blog post some time giving the designer some love because this is a free theme. There are many great features included with it, too.
Keep up the good work, Brad. I love your level of engagement here it's very inspiring. I might have to borrow your monthly recap idea. *smile*
