A Quick Shout Out to My Blog Community

Thank you Blog Community!Today marks the 2 month anniversary of this blog.  I know that sounds like one of those new couples in love that finds any excuse to celebrate an anniversary, but that’s kind of how I feel.

I have learned a lot in my first 2 months of blogging, and I am sure that there are many more lessons to be learned.  When I started out, I thought that I would still be writing to myself at this point.  You have made sure that did not happen.

Thank you for sharing this journey with me.  Your comments, tweets, diggs, shares, and links have been a real blessing to me.  As Thanksgiving approaches this week, I am truly grateful for you, my blog community, and the encouragement your participation brings.

This weekend, I transformed my footer area to highlight my blog community.  I removed my tweets and added yours.  I increased the links to your sites on my blogrolls.  I’ve added a new fan page on Facebook and highlighting fans in my new sidebar widget.

Over the holidays I will be opening up guest posts, giving away free advertising space through comment contests, and be looking for more suggestions from you to make this blog the best it can be.

Thank you again for your participation.  Please let me know how I can make this blog better by making suggestions in the comments below.

    Good Morning Brad,

Many thanks for sending your introduction so quickly, I've added a few words of my own and hope you approve … please let me know if you want to have any alterations or additions made.

By the way, looking forward to seeing ( and being part of) your community growth here – besides developing an interesting blog I think that you have also created an extremely good niche that has lots ( and lots) of community growth potential. In relation to this, I've just enjoyed watching your featured video – and was wondering if you were planning on creating your own YouTube channel in the near future? I think that a series of “Bradley's Business Sermons” ( or some much better title!) would probably prove to be extremely popular … and could really help to strengthen community creation here.

    Thanks again

    Will

    Hi there Brad,

just thought I would tell you about a problem I encountered on your site. I have Antivir as an antivirus program and it is popping up all over your website. It is coming up with some kind of infected website message. Just thought I would let you know.

Wow! That looks great Will. Thank you very much for the honor.

I've been searching for websites and blogs in this niche, but there are not that many out there. It's weird that the Bible talks about money over 800 times, and Christ's parables and sermons are filled with the subject. There are some good sites that look at the personal finance side, but not many that delve into what it means to be a Christian entrepreneur.

I am hoping to have a YouTube channel up soon, but it may not be until after the holidays. Until then, I have just been featuring other videos that I've found useful from YouTube.

David, thanks for the heads up. I had not heard of this anti-virus program before, but I installed it and received similar warnings.

There were a couple of iframes that came with this WordPress template that do not appear to be necessary. I think they were causing the issue, because I am no longer receiving the warnings from Antivir.

Please let me know if you are still experiencing the warnings.
